 What’s This All About?

12 years ago, God put it on the hearts of a couple of people from The Church @ The Ridge to begin an outreach by selling pumpkins to the community during the month of October. It isn't that unusual for churches, but we felt led to commit to give away 100% of the sales profits to local ministries and missions efforts. For the past eleven years we have supplied funds to local food banks, homeless shelters, and crisis pregnancy centers. We have dug several wells and built churches in Burkina Faso, Africa, supported an orphanage in Nigeria, re-roofed homes in Puerto Rico after the hurricanes, helped build a tiny house village for women rescued from sex trafficking, supported the mentoring of fatherless boys in our community, and much more. To date, we have given away over $75,000 to these and other causes. God has blessed this effort each year. In addition, we have been able to reach out to many people in our community, many of whom have come to find a church home with us, and we have seen many lives changed as people found a new or renewed relationship with God as a result.

WELL...2021 has been a challenge for us all! Last year, because of CONSTRUCTION on the lot which usually hosts our Pumpkin Patch, as well as precautions and protocols related to COVID, we had to hold off on the Traditional Patch. HOWEVER, this year WE ARE BACK, with 100% of the net profits going to ministry and mission efforts.
