What to expect when you attend Church @ The Ridge for the first time:
PARKING…there are special, designated parking spaces for first time attendees to the left of the front entrance. Park HERE! We only have one main entrance, so come in through the glass doors and you’ll find our central lobby, which has easy access to every area.
WHAT TO WEAR…we are pretty casual around here, so come in something comfortable.
WHEN TO ARRIVE…our Worship Gathering starts at 10:30am. You might want to get here about 10 minutes early so you can check your kids in and grab a cup of coffee.
SPEAKING OF COFFEE…in our lobby area, you’ll find a self-serve coffee station which also includes water and soft drinks. Grab one on your way in!
KIDS MINISTRY…Our children’s ministry is called RidgeKidz Jr. (preschool age) and RidgeKidz (elementary age). When you arrive, there is a check in table straight across the lobby for RidgeKidz Ministry. Our volunteers will gladly assist you in getting your children registered. Our preschoolers go directly to their classrooms, while our elementary-age kids join their parents in the Worship Center for the first part of our Worship Gathering. There, they will participate with you as a family in praise and worship through singing, then they will be dismissed to their own classes for the lesson. Our RidgeKidz and RidgeKidz Jr. groups all study The Gospel Project.
STUDENT MINISTRY…our middle and high school students gather for the Bible Study/Discipleship group on Wednesday evenings, on our church campus, from 6:30-8:00pm. They enjoy connecting with one another through some fun and fellowship while digging into God’s Word together.
OUR WORSHIP GATHERING IS…really quite simple! We gather together and worship God through music, prayer together, giving, and practical teaching from God’s Word. We aren’t flashy and we don’t try to draw attention to ourselves, or any one person…except Jesus! Our music is current and contemporary. It isn't over-the-top, but we also mix in some older songs with a contemporary flare from time to time. We take a very Biblical approach to our worship gatherings. Our desire is to sincerely seek the Lord together as the Body of Christ each week. In the process, God is glorified and He speaks into our hearts and changes us. We believe you’ll find our worship gatherings sincere, relevant, genuine, and Christ-centered.
