Creative Arts
Our Creative Arts teams @ The Ridge provide opportunities to use your gifts and talents in the following areas:
·Music: Our music team leads our church in corporate praise and worship on Sunday mornings and provides music for a variety of other church events. Singers and musicians who wish to volunteer on our music team must be able to attend mid-week rehearsals and be at the campus Sunday mornings by 7:30 AM for set-up and sound check. All volunteers on the music team must be at least 16 years old and provide their own instruments and equipment. An audition and interview is required for all volunteers in this area.
·Tech: The tech team provides audio, visual, and lighting support for the Sunday gatherings as well as special events. Volunteers in this area should have a basic working knowledge of sound reinforcement, stage set & lighting, and multimedia equipment. Some training is available in certain areas. Volunteers in this area should be at least 13 years old.
·Video/Photography: Volunteers in this area attend gatherings and special events and take photos and video for use in print and video pieces. We also create original video resources for the church and the website.
·Website: We are looking for volunteers to help develop and maintain our church website, ChurchAtTheRidge.com. Volunteers should have some knowledge and experience in web design and development.
·Print Publication & Graphic Design: This team designs original artwork for a variety of uses including video, web, and print resources. Volunteers in this area should have some experience in graphic design and page layout using the Adobe Creative Suite software.
